Go Bold with a Punchy Title!

I absolutely adore Autumn, so today I am scrapping the season I want it to be. I printed this picture of a pumpkin with a super long stem which reminded me of some of the means out there so I knew exactly what I wanted my title to be.

To create it, I went to the alphas in the collection, which come in green, orange, blue, yellow and wood grain. I chose green, orange, and blue; which matched my color scheme perfectly. I made sure to vary the sizes of my words, putting emphasis on this and fall especially by making them different colors.

After I had them all mapped out in my design space I created an offset or a bubble around all four words (Traci has a tutorial for this for Silhouette here and Ophie wrote one for Photoshop here). I cut my bubble out of craft card stock and bumped up all my letters on two sizes of craft foam again to put a lot of emphasis on the word "Fall".

I kept my embellishing relatively simple, using a frame from the ephemera pack that I scored and bent along the corners to add more dimension and texture to my photo.

I then layered a couple of patterned cards behind my photo tucking a tab behind it and created my own journaling card by layering a journaling card on top of a patterned card to pull in more of the green in the collection. I backed a couple of the wood grain pumpkins also from the ephemera pack with vellum, and sprinkled the leather hearts down my page to finish it off.
