Scrapping the Timeline of your Love with Hanna

It’s the month of celebrating love, so I wanted to scrap a relationship timeline, which I’ve done before. But I wanted to do it with a twist. I’ve done themed Valentine’s cards before; with photographs of us through the years. This time the wonderful True North bundle gave me an idea.

When my boyfriend and I met 18,5 years ago my job was to sell cruises. We went on our cruise together for the first time in 2012. And then we went on to go on two other more cruises later on in 2018 and 2023. So, there was my theme for this layout.

I got inspired by the twine that resembled waves, so I cut out the shapes and put the twine on top. Tucking in photos is something I always love, I picked 3 photos from each cruise to tell the story. To keep it cohesive I chose to use 4 colors, pink, red, teal and dark blue and tried to disperse them evenly on the layout.

Lastly, I put some ellies on the twine and on the rope frames as well. Tilting some stuff gives the page movement and the three layers represent each cruise.

Adding a title, a little journaling and a nice scatter and voila: our Just Cruisin’ relationship timeline is done!
