This project got blown out of proportion instantly… haha! What started as a simple idea to make a cute little desk organizer quickly turned into so much more.

You know how it goes, once I start going through a collection, like this one and suddenly I want to create all the things. And before I knew it, my “one small project” turned into a full set!

So, tadaaaaa and here it is - my Paper Memories Sidekick Kit, a collection of small but useful pieces that can be my little creative companion when I do memory keeping!

This collection includes:

A desk organizer (which was actually supposed to be the original project idea) which comes with three compartments and is embellished with flowers. My original idea was to have something for my desk for keeping most-used journaling supplies within reach.

Then I also created a mini album that can double as a scrapbook or even a journal. I added a small frame on the front cover to personalize it with a favorite photo. This time, I kept the inside more open and flexible, no built-in frames - so it can use it however I like. It includes pockets, inserts, and a few tags, and a lot of space to document memories whichever way.

Next is a folder organizer filled with cards from the Trailblazer collection. This one is perfect for storing letters, journaling cards, or even those little bits and pieces we keep on saving for future scrapbook layouts.

One of my favorite pieces in this set is the “List of Me” ring-bound cards. It’s a fun and personal addition! Idea is to fill it with anything - lists of things you’re grateful for, favorite food, books, movies that made you cry… the list of lists are endless. And since it’s ring-bound, you can keep adding more pages whenever inspiration strikes.

Lastly, I made a journaling cards holder. It’s a simple folio with a string closure, also filled with Trailblazer journaling cards. Once you’ve used up all the cards, you can easily repurpose it as a holder for stickers or ephemera, making it both cute and functional.

What I love most about this project is how it all came together so naturally. It may have started as just a desk organizer, but it turned into something much more special - a little collection designed to inspire and help with creativity, capturing memories, and keep everything you love about paper crafting close at hand.

Oh and of course, as usual, scraps were made into cute little notebooks!
