Play Layout Peek-A-Boo with Bruna!
The Paranormal Activities collection is delightful; when I saw the titles "EKK" and "BOO" in the digital kit, I decided to adapt them into a "Peek-a-Boo" theme. I felt that the game paired perfectly with scraps of patterned paper and elements "peeking out" from tears in the background paperóand thatís how the layout came together.
I printed out several patterned cards for this purpose, as well as to make pennants. I cut out the base for one and used it as a template for the others.
I used a bit of mixed media with purple paint for the background. Then, I tore the paper. I ran a wet finger over a specific area, made a cut with a craft knife, and tore as much as I wanted, creating "openings" to reveal the hidden layers of paper underneath.
I assembled my pennants using photos, twine, and various embellishments. And embellished the torn-paper sections with hidden elements tucked into each one. In the end, I felt something was missing, so I added a black background to the entire page, it really brought it to life!
