Frightfully Cute Treat Bag Toppers: Creating adorably cute Halloween Treat Bag toppers
Creating fun Halloween treat bag toppers to hand out, take to a Halloween party or to a little one’s class is easy using the new Paranormal Activities collection. This Halloween collection has such an adorable and whimsical collection of papers and ephemera it makes putting together Halloween bag toppers quick and easy.
To start gather the papers, ephemera, treat bags and your favorite border punches.
The treat bags I am using for this project are 4” x6” so to create the toppers for my bags. I selected three pattern papers from the Paranormal Activities collection and cut them to 5”x6”. I then scored the papers at the 3” mark and folded them in half. Next, I took a scalloped border punch and selected three additional pattern papers. From each paper I punched a border and cut the border strips to 1” x 5”.
Adhere the border strip to the bottom of each treat bag topper. Next using the ephemera from the collection build embellishment clusters on the front of each bag. Use the embellishments to cover the seam where the border strip meets the bag topper. Once all the embellishments have been added to the tops of the treat bags adhere the bag toppers to your treat bags to complete this quick and easy Halloween party favor.
