Easy DIY Fall Home Decor with the Story Foundations: Golden Days Collection!
Hi it's Ruth here with today's project (@ruthlewendon on insta). I've been thinking we could do with some actual autumnal decor around here. It's still to o warm to actually light the fire but the evenings are starting to feel a bit more cosy twinkle lights rather than hot summer nights so I think it's time!
I decided to make a decorative hanger for the fireplace using some of the sticker pack in thStory Foundations Golden Days collection. I printed the stickers at A4 sheet size on some textured white cardstock and used my cricut to cut them out. (I love that they come in different options, I used the fussy cut no lines for this.) Then I gathered some other supplies from around the craft room and arranged my pieces onto 3 separate wood slices.
I used red tape and foam pads to attach the embellishment pieces and also red tape to attach the ribbon to the back. I made a loop with the tiny attacher (yes, mini staples!) and ta-dah!!! Obviously this skips over all the indecisive shifting pieces around for ages type steps… feel free to add them back in when you try it and I’d love to see what you do with your version!
