Scraplift Saturday - Digital Team Member Michele

Hey, Hey! It’s Scraplift Saturday and today we’re lifting our very own Michele AKA AppScrapper! What’s so fun about Michele’s work is that she solely uses apps on her phone/iPad to scrapbook, giving her a clean and crisp look that’s fun to emulate!

Make sure you tag me on Instagram if you play along and use the hashtag #TRDScrapLiftSaturday!

Becky - True North

Michele (App Scrapper) had so many gorgeous layouts on her grid it was difficult to choose one to scraplift! However I loved the flow of this layout especially as I wanted to use True North and a beach photo of my husband. That curved paper really looked like waves to me! I also really liked the fact that the paper strips showcase so many different patterns from a collection. I pretty much did a direct scraplift and I was really pleased to include an embellishment cluster I made when True North originally came out! It was made using a 3x4 card but I cut around the oval on the card so it fitted my layout better. Please make sure you check out App Scrapper on Instagram, especially if you need some scrappy inspiration!

Donna - Trailblazer

Michele has many inspiring and beautiful layouts. After some thought, I opted to scraplift a simple layout with some circle mats and minimal embellishments. But knowing me, I eventually added many layers and clusters of embellishments. I also added another layer for the base and added stitches around it.

Theresa - Hearth & Hollow

The folks in our community who scrap with Apps continually inspire me, and Michelle - who goes by AppScrapper on Instagram - grabs my attention every time she creates! I chose this layout for its simplicity and use of several stunningly beautiful photos right at the center, with just the perfect embellishments to support. The first thing you might notice is how I chose a completely warm color palette found in the Hearth & Hollow collection, as opposed to Michelle’s cool blue and turquoise. I started with her basic framework, six photos on top of several beautiful papers, a torn edge, and title plus journaling at the top and bottom. I seem to have printed and cut my photos and embellishments a bit larger, which is pretty typical for me. I added the sequins and the string before printing to offset the turquoise line art she used. This was so much fun to scraplift and I hope you are inspired by her beautiful work as well!

Tara - Keep Chasing Rainbows

This month we are scraplifting our team member, Michele!  There are so many beautiful layouts on her Instagram feed that it was really hard to choose just one.  I decided to go with one of her more recent layouts using the latest release, Trailblazer.  I used a cutfile that I already owned to create the hexagon look.  I backed each hexagon with a traveler’s notebook paper from Keep Chasing Rainbows.  I used stickers and alphas from the collection as well. My layout isn’t exactly like hers but I kept as true to her beautiful creation as possible.

Ophie - #Foodie

I picked this page that Michele created solely because it is a minimal type of layout. I typically love to add several papers and paint to my page so I knew lifting this page would be different for me. I used Traci’s Foodie kit to scrap one of our evenings out to dinner.

Here is my page.
