Pint-Sized Patterns with Celia
The new Poolside collection is so much fun and I am absolutely obsessed with every pattern paper. so I wanted to figure out a way to use every pattern and solid in the collection without making a super busy or messy page. After looking for a little inspiration on Pinterest I found a perfect way to achieve this. I uploaded each pattern into my Cricut Designs space and added it to 1 in circles, printing most of them twice and some of them three times.
I wanted the texture of the circles and their patterns to stand out the most so I went with a white background. I added a couple of the water splashes found in the embellishments pack in the digital kit and printed those on a plain white paper to add just a little bit of interest and dimension to the page.
After I arranged my circles and spread out the patterns across the page I used a paper piercer to poke a small hole in the middle of all of them and threaded them together with orange embroidery floss.
I also printed a handful of the glittery leaves from the embellishment kit and tucked them in between my photos and some of the circles giving me spots to make little embellishment clusters.
I then went through all the adorable icons in the sticker packs tucking them in between the circles and on top of my leaves. I love how the circles kind of mimic the clothesline of bathing suits and towels and give such a fun breezy beachy vibe! To finish off the page I decided to mount it on a solid yellow paper, still allowing some of the embellishments to poke off the page, which I feel gives an even more tropical backyard garden feel.
