Mix It Up Monday: Story Foundations: Paranormal Activities + Jack & Skelly

For the 47th edition of Mix It Up Monday, we’re combining Story Foundations: Paranormal Activities with Jack & Skelly to make the ultimate Halloween mashup!

These two Halloween collections, Jack & Skelly and Paranormal Activities, are packed with cute elements and beautiful, easy-to-coordinate papers. I created a simple, semi-mirrored layout using strips of background paper, two photos, and a cluster featuring elements from both collections. I finished it off with Nuvo Drops details.

Halloween fun doesn’t end when the trick-or-treating is over! One of my favorite post-Halloween traditions is watching the kids dump out their candy stashes, count their loot, and negotiate trades for their favorite treats.
For this layout, the Jack & Skelly kit brings all the playful, vintage Halloween elements while the Paranormal Activities kit has more colorful elements. I absolutely love how the two kits mix together so well on this page and I ADORE the Marquee Alpha from the Jack & Skelly kit combined with the bright elements from the Paranormal Actvities kit!

I love when characters from different collections come together and match so perfectly! That’s exactly what happened with the adorable little skulls from Jack & Skeleton and the cute ghosts from Paranormal Activity. I used papers and embellishments from both collections to create this TN spread, and they go together so beautifully!
