Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I adore the Jack and Skelly collection. It has classic Halloween colors and design with a vintage feel but there are also plenty of florals, pumpkins and neutral papers for those who prefer fall to Halloween. For my layout, I opted to go with a simple banner design. I cut banners out of four different pattern papers from the collection in different widths and lengths. I then layered them up on plain white cardstock to create two rows of banners, alternating patterns and sizes to give a layered look. Next I cut my photographs into banners and layered them with the pattern paper banners. Next I adhered skeletons from the collection into the banners. For additional texture, I randomly added spider webs, bats, ghosts, jack-o-lanterns, and an owl on a broom around the banners and photographs. To create an appearance of the banners being hung, I did a simple machine stitch across the banner tops. Finally, I added the acrylic title "My Little Pumpkin."

BOO! I am loving this classic Halloween collection! I love how Jack and Skelly is kept simple with the usual black and orange of Halloween, plus all the iconic Halloween characters we’ve grown up with - ghosts, pumpkins, bats, skeletons, and black cats!

I have worked in the hospitality industry for 13 years and Halloween was always one of my favorite elevations at the hotel - I love when we start decorating and planning activities and parties for our guests! Since Halloween isn’t celebrated in Saudi Arabia, last year, we crossed over to Bahrain hoping to find a little spooky fun. Aside from one hilariously creepy grocery store staff member in costume, there really wasn’t much Halloween to be found. Thought that only made the memory even funnier.

So for this layout, whether it’s Boo! For Halloween or Boo! For not having any Halloween in Bahrain, this still deserved a scrapbook page - No haunted houses or trick-or-treating, just burgers, sightseeing, and a weekend adventure with my boo, and I think that’s the best part already.

The Jack and Skelly collection is my all-time favorite Halloween collection. It transports me back to my childhood with the classic orange and black Halloween colors. I used one of the TN papers and added some of the stars, paint swatch, and the moon with bats to print out.

I used a cut file from Paige Evans and sized it down to fit. I used a micro dot adhesive sheet for this cutfile. I used various pattern papers from the Jack and Skelly collection and inlaid the letters. Making sure to keep the letters an and o centers to glue onto. Then I added some of the Ellies.
