I love the excuse to document my amazing hubby using Traci’s adorable Smitten collection. In the day to day its easy to forget all the wonderful qualities that make your partner the one true person for you – so thanks to Traci I was able to capture a few more recent images of my special guy that still has me Smitten after all these years!

The Smitten kit is bursting with sweet little touches that celebrate your favorite person (or people). Time to rescue those precious photos from your camera roll and give them the spotlight they deserve on a layout! This photo is my lock screen from a special trip we took and I wanted to make sure it made it into my scrapbook. The Smitten kit is so perfect to celebrate love!

Love doesn’t always have to mean hearts, roses, and romance, and this album is proof of that.
For this project, I used Traci Reed’s Smitten collection, which is very cute by the way, but instead of making something for Valentine’s Day, I decided to celebrate Galentine’s Day. It’s the same date, but just a different kind of love. And this one’s the kind that’s steady, familiar, and always there.
I made a mini album dedicated to my best friend, someone who has been a constant in my life even when we’ve lived in different countries for years. She’s the one person I rarely “miss,” because distance never really mattered. We always chat, we always check in, and somehow she’s always present no matter where we are in the world.
The album has a shaker cover filled with sparkly floral shaker bits, layered over one of Smitten’s cards that says “I love you to the moon.” Inside, I added photos of us through the years, paired with journaling cards and blank spaces for room to grow, add stories, and keep collecting memories as time goes on.
Alongside this album, I also made a quick scrap-busting project for the hubby. This has been something I’ve been meaning to do for the longest time - you know those little 2 × 3 pieces that come from the middle of frames when making mini albums? I finally used them!
Since I used 12 frames for my Galentine’s Day album, I bound those middle pieces into a tiny book titled “12 Things I Love About You.” I added a few flip pages, a pocket made from scraps left over from the first project, and added in small embellishments on some pages. To finish it off, I clipped on a little crochet flower and added a tassel charm.
Two projects, two very different kinds of love, but both equally worth celebrating.
