I love Moonlit and knew immediately that I wanted to scrap this photo I’d taken in Barbados. I’d seen a layout on Pinterest which inspired me (can’t find the OP I’m afraid) and used mostly embellishments from the digital kit including the moon which I scaled up big as a statement piece on my layout. My favourite embellishments though are the title, word pieces and stars which once printed I covered with some holographic clear sticker paper before cutting out - they have stars which sparkle in the light which looks lovely!

For this layout, I was inspired by summer nights and all the activities that come with them. I wanted to document a woodland adventure, and the fireflies added a whimsical touch. I was out of my comfort zone by using darker colors, but they turned out to be the perfect backdrop for adding touches of golden watercolor and creating a fun, magical background.

I love sunsets, and the Moonlit collection is perfect for scrapbooking them. I created a double-page spread in a Snap album, mixing papers and plastic sleeves with cards. I chose paper featuring sunset colors and added my photo, along with some flowers and leaves for embellishment. As for the cards, I didn't have one in the colors I wanted, so I cut down a sheet of TN-sized paper and adapted the text by creating a custom card in Photoshop. Digital collections give you that kind of freedom!

I tend to scrap on minimalist side. But sometimes I really love to put the whole kitchen sink on a page because all the ellies are so cool.

Making clusters with all different textures really works. So once again, using a template which implements the rules of three. Putting these clusters on the page in a triangle helps focus it. I went all out using different patterned papers and then putting the glitter flowers and mixing them with fabric flowers really makes it jump out.

I also placed the smores on the page because of the theme, and I like mirroring elements. So I used the same journaling card but to break the flow, which you have to do sometimes, I only journaled on one. I loved creating this filled page about this awesome memory. Here’s another one of my mini albums, this time created using Moonlit! Unlike my usual flippy minis, I kept this one a little simpler (though “simple” is definitely relative for me! If you’ve been following my previous minis, you’ll know exactly what I mean).

When I think of moonlit summer nights, I picture those rare, quiet evenings when life slows down just enough for us to simply be present and appreciate the moment.

These days, we’re all so busy, with schedules to keep and technology constantly competing for our attention. Those peaceful moments under the moon feel more precious than ever. I wanted this album to celebrate those rare nights, the conversations, the laughter, the comfortable silence, and the memories that deserve to be treasured.
