Celebrate Golden Season with Amber Glow

Fall has a way of making even the everyday moments feel a little more special, and that's exactly what I wanted to capture with Amber Glow. This printable collection combines the warmth of golden ambers and rustic oranges with soft blues and earthy greens for an autumn palette that's colorful, cozy, and a little unexpected. It's full of seasonal charm without being limited to just pumpkin patches and falling leaves.

Whether you're documenting crisp autumn days, family outings, favorite seasonal traditions, or simply the everyday moments happening around you, Amber Glow has plenty of pieces to help tell those stories. With coordinating patterned papers, two sets of journal cards, patterned cards, and a collection of stickers, there are lots of ways to mix, match, and build pages that feel uniquely yours.

And if Amber Glow has been on your wishlist, now is a great time to pick it up! It's part of this month's Sweet Steals sale, so you can grab the collection at a special price and bring a little extra autumn warmth to your scrapbook pages.

Autumn memories that come back every year. It started a few years ago in summer, but by now it has become a tradition to spend a weekend in the woods with my mom every autumn. Our weekend is filled with hours of talking, nice walks, watching Netflix, but we also often bring something with us to be crafty. It has become a yearly tradition that I really look forward to every year.

I think the Amber Glow kit fits perfectly with nature pictures and cozy moments together. Because autumn often has lots of layers and beautiful colors, I wanted to bring this into my layout too. I don't always find it easy to work with so many layers, but this kit is so perfect for it that it went quite easily.

If you grew up in the era of the “pink for girls/blue for boys,” you’ll know this can extend to florals being “traditionally feminine.” While I do love florals myself, I also love using them on layouts with my little toddler. When I first saw the cozy colors with the floral stickers in this collection I couldn’t help but think about my little guy and how he was growing way too fast.

This layout features a blown up version of this sticker printed in the same size several times on card stock instead of sticker paper. I then was able to cut out individual pieces of the element to layer them onto the main floral element resulting in the addition of layers and just a little more dimension. I love how playful and cozy this layout turned out. Florals are for everyone!

I do love the feeling of a season change, and the Amber Glow collection is perfect to help me document this. From the warm tones in the collection to the cutest bows, florals and frames it made putting together a two-page spread in my storyline chapters insert easy.

To make sure the pages flowed I started my design cluster on the top left of the spread and let it flow across to the bottom right. This helps to draw the eye across the spread and then to the opposite page. To help unify the pages, I made sure that I used the floral clusters across the two pages focusing mainly on the colour orange as orange is the complimentary colour to blue, which features in my pictures. I then added in some mixed media to the background using a cross stencil and Faded Jeans in the distress oxides- again helping to tie back into the complementary colour.
