Manifesting Fall with the Cider Season Collection

Y’all I can’t handle this heat anymore like I could a couple years ago. It has just gotten worse. On Saturdays I sell my cards at my local farmers market and I can barely make it to 11:30 in the morning it gets so hot. So if we band together and make fall theme projects we can manifest fall temperatures! That is what I’ telling my delulu self.

So I started off by creating a digital layout using Cider Season. This is just a cozy collection. I love the colors so much. This photo is from a farmers day a few years ago and it was freezing! Yes, I am drinking a iced mocha coffee and it was delicious. I always love putting one of the transparencies or splatters behind my photos. It just gives some interest and texture to the layout. Added a cluster on the bottom corner of my top photo and then a couple on the bottom corners of the 3x4 card.

Next I did a hybrid layout using the Cider Season collection. I got this new planner folio that wanted to try out the size. I believe that it’s a A5 size. So I first planned this layout using Affinity. Which is an amazing FREE dupe of that one big company that you have to have subscription for. Anyways, I made the document size the same as the paper. When I went to print it turns out I in fact did not have the correct dimensions. I was 1/4” shy off of the bottom. Thankfully there was more than enough on side to cut off to cover it up.

I used some of the frame ellies for my photos. These photos were taken a few years ago when it look and felt like fall. That bottom photo has my sister’s dog in it, but it’s kinda hard to tell since he blends in. When I went to assemble this page I placed that bottom photo with the orange ornate frame upside down. Didn’t even realize until I asked myself why the dog was in the sky.

The title I fussy cut out and used very thin foam squares to give just the slightest lift. I don’t want a bulky element when everything else is glued down flat. I layered one of the 3x4 journal cards on a pattern card. Used a tag where I will write down my journaling. Added some clusters on the bottom photo.

So hopefully if we all tell ourselves that if we think, act, and create fall projects then Mother Nature will hear us and give use at the very least the temperatures.
