The Daily STAMPede and Pocket Moments Mini Albums by Ana

Finally, another project ticked off my to-do list! And, well… another journal and mini for my ever-growing collection of journals and minis I keep for myself. Haha!

You’ve probably seen those cute little postage-stamp punch junk journals floating around Instagram and Facebook reels lately. I have the punch too and have been wanting to use it, but it didn’t quite feel right just gluing the tiny stamps into my Happy Planner. So instead, I made a Traveler’s Notebook that I named The Daily STAMPede!

I labeled each page with the months from March to December. Since that only filled half of the TN, I used the other half to create a section called STAMPed Adventures, a special place for documenting our trips (with little stamps still) this year. We have a few coming up, and I thought it would be nice to dedicate pages just for travel memories instead of filling up the monthly pages too quickly. For the titles, I used the Wildflower Alphas, and added little touches using the stickers and ellies from the collection, mostly tucked into the corners so I still have plenty of space to add the postage stamps over the coming months.

The TN measures 4 x 8 inches. When I made it, I cut 8 x 8 pages from an A4 sheet, which left me with lots of 3 x 8.5 strips of paper. I didn’t want to throw them away and adding them to my already growing boxes of scraps (which I sort by color!) didn’t seem like the best solution either. So I cut the strips in half, bound them using my Mini Cinch, decorated them, and turned them into a tiny notebook I called Pocket Moments.

This little mini is perfect for the Instax photos I receive. I do have an Instax camera, but I rarely use it these days. However, my friends often give me printed Instax photos when we’re out, and I’ve just been keeping them in a box. Now I finally have a mini album small enough to hold these sweet little memories.

At first, I thought of making it a “photo-a-month” album with one favorite photo per month. But since I already have quite a few Instax photos waiting for a home, this felt like the perfect solution. Maybe the photo-a-month idea will turn into my next scrap-busting mini!
