Hanna - Island Time

I love this sketch. I’m a sucker for torn paper pieces and they always remind me of the ocean and waves (the white could be the foam) so I immediately thought of our latest trip to a German Island. So I used Island Time for this layout. And I also love vellum titles so I created one myself to compliment this awesome collection. Love how this turned out!

Laura - Equinox

It’s finally fall weather here in Oklahoma. Which means those beautiful Oklahoma sunrises and sunsets become even more golden. For Sketchy Sunday #80 I chose to use the Equinox collection since it is perfect to document those golden skies. I replaced the stars with some of the heart stickers. Since I don’t do journaling on my layouts I replaced that journal tag with one of the stickers. I love that this stack of books can act like a journal bit. I did use two tags from Cider Season. The colors of the tags go well with Equinox.

Melinda - Story Foundations: Milestones

This sketch worked more as a jumping off point for me, as you can see! I found my 2 x photos straight away and then picked the 2 chapters from the Story Foundations collection that I chose to use. I love, love, love this ombre woodgrain from Chapter 2 - Faves and don’t think I’ve used it yet, so first decision made! I paired that with the glitter black from the same chapter and then dove into my stash of pre-printed bits from Chapter 5 - Milestones. I love how all of these chapters work so beautifully together, Traci really has done an amazing thing with the collections this year!!
I couldn’t get the layers to work the same as they are on the sketch so decided to flip the page and it was exactly what worked!! A few layers on top - roughly following the sketch and then my journalling and gold splatter! This was a super fun sketch to work with and I love the page I pulled together!

Ana - Story Foundations: Milestones

Another memory scrapbooked thanks to Sketchy Sunday! It's one of my favorites because it helps me put together a layout without overthinking every little detail, and it lets me check another story off my ever-growing “to scrapbook” list. I know, I know, I always say this on my Sketchy Sunday blogs. But it’s true and if you have been thinking of doing Sketchy Sundays too, this is your sign. If you won’t take it as that, I will say this again next month. Haha!
This page celebrates a milestone in our lives: our first and last family photos in our first home in Saudi Arabia before moving from Al Ahsa to Al Khobar. Al Ahsa may not be the busiest place in the Kingdom, but it became our home and holds so many memories that we'll always treasure.
For this layout, I used the Story Foundations: Milestones collection. And now, looking back on these photos made me realize there are still so many Al Ahsa memories I want to scrapbook. So while I crossed one story off my list, I somehow added a few more. Haha!
