Combining Three Collections For the Ultimate Autumn Layout
I can’t believe that it is already October. This year has gone by so fast. At least here in Oklahoma we are no longer in the 100s. The mornings is when it truly feels like the fall weather. Sitting on the back porch with my cats in their pet stroller (best purchase ever) and listening to birds talking away. Watching the squirrels chase each other on the tree truck and hopping through the tree limbs. The mornings have become my most favorite time of the day.
For my layout I used a few collections to showcase some fall moments. The collections I used are Autumn Enchantment, Cider Season, and Equinox. For my background I used one of the pattern papers from Equinox. I added the glitter stars from Autumn Enchantment over the background and reduced the opacity just a little bit. Then I added the falling leaves from Equinox where they wouldn’t be covered up by the photos.
I made a couple of the journaling cards into frames. I knew I had to document this perfectly timed photo of Zoomie. One morning I opened the living room curtain and there was the huge Monarch butterfly on the screen. Zoomie didn’t know what to think of it. He pawed at the window a bit. Then he was in mid reach while yawning and I took the photo. He is giving “get off my lawn” vibes so much. Off to the side I made a little leaf pile with the cat playing in it.
When I saw the word strip stirring up magic in the kitchen I knew the perfect pictures to document. I made a rose-shaped apple pie that turned out perfectly. I made a Biscoff banana pudding which was divine! The speculoos cookies are that warm spiced that goes perfectly for the ‘Ber months. These were the perfect fall desserts to make.
