Project Life 2026: January Faves
As January came to a close, I found myself wanting a simple way to wrap up the month. While my weekly spreads capture the rhythm of everyday life, I loved the idea of creating a dedicated “January Faves” page using the Story Foundations: Faves collection. It felt like the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and gather some of the moments that stood out.
This layout became a highlight reel of sorts. Instead of focusing on a single week, I pulled together snapshots from across the month: cozy evenings, creative routines, favorite foods, library visits, and little personal joys. There is something really satisfying about seeing those memories side by side, especially when they might otherwise be scattered throughout multiple spreads.
The Faves collection made this process incredibly easy. The cards and embellishments are designed for exactly this type of storytelling, so everything felt cohesive without needing much extra effort. I leaned into the soft color palette and playful heart motifs to tie the page together, letting the products carry the visual consistency.
What I especially love about this spread is how personal it feels. Project Life albums naturally lean toward documenting family life, schedules, and shared experiences. This page allowed me to gently shift the lens back onto my own story: the things I loved, the habits I settled into, and the moments that made the month feel full.
I am already convinced this will become a monthly tradition. A “Faves” roundup is such a low-pressure way to reflect, and it adds a really nice layer to the album overall. It is less about chronology and more about memory curation, which feels refreshing alongside the weekly structure.
If you have ever wanted to include more of your own perspective in your albums, this type of page is a great place to start. It does not require a big story or milestone, just a collection of moments that made you smile.
