Create a Quick Mini Album with Journal Cards with Luly
There is something so fun about summer mini albums – and if they are actually “mini” then that’s even better! Traci’s Carefree Days is perfect to document all the summer memories with all the fun colors & embellishments. I am using this mini book to document a trip to Ana Maria Island in Florida.
Using the Patterned Cards and Journal Cards really made this mini book to easy to put together. I printed out a few sheets of pattern/journal cards and mixed in a few sheets of my favorite Stampin’ Up cardstock to create this book. A simple hole punch in the corner is the way I chose to put this mini book together with an orange jump ring and some color coordinating ribbon.
I know how busy summer can be to be scrapping – but its also the time when we are creating the most memories! I printed the stickers pages on sticker paper to make it super easy.
I made a few of the back-to-back cards pockets by simply gluing on 3 sides with my favorite liquid adhesive and using a 1” circle punch at the top. I used a ton of labels, word strips and embellishments on photos too. I added the tags (printed on sticker paper in this case) on the colored cardstock. I will add photos to the back of these tags & even create photos in the same shape to add more pics in these pockets.
Even with the smaller size – there is so much space there is for pictures, journaling & more space for embellishments. Traci’s kits are so full that you can document so many different kinds of memories – pool time, bar-b-ques, parades & every day summer. Don’t let the joyful days of summer just sit on your phone – create a little mini book to help remind you how much fun you had!
