Seven Days of No Stress December Daily Prep: Day Three!

December Daily and other daily projects like it can be…stressful. The comparison is REAL and we can get lost in trying out allll the new techniques and stress ourselves out to the max trying to “keep up” with the community. I get it. I get caught up in it too. That’s why for the next 7 days I’m going to be bringing you video each day with pages using simple techniques - no special tools required - that you can add to your album to liven up your pages WITHOUT going crazy and adding stress to your already busy and stressful holiday season.

Use these ideas as-is or as a jumping off point for more complex pages if you wish!

Today I’m going to be using the All Is Calm Collection to make 4 foundation pages and then 4 3x4 cards using the stickers and patterned cards!

I started my foundation pages with that gorgeous plaid printed on vellum that I turned into an envelope hold a tag. Instead of using my circle punch to notch the top, I cut a “v” letting the plaid lines guide me for an interesting change. Then I circled my star flakes into a wreath around one of the letter boards from the digital kit.

I had been envisioning an acetate page in my album with 2x2 squares, rather than using a 2x2 page protector and I really love how this page evolved into something even better! There are hearts and circles on each side of the transparency and I can add photos, journaling, or embellishments to any of the shapes as I use the page.

The fact that it’s two-sided will make it super easy to integrate into my album.

For my next page, I wanted to do something simple, but I really loved the acetate borderI created on one of my pages from yesterday using All Is Bright, so I did the same today with this TN Signature I printed on acetate, which left just a cute border of Christmas lights. I then clipped some idea embellishments to the page for possible future use.

My most interactive page, this one accordion folds out to 5 4x8.5 pages that each have vellum pockets that I intend to tuck our Christmas lists into.

The construction on this one looks harder than it is - just be careful with liquid glue and printed vellum - it WILL smear!

Lastly, I used the patterned cards from the collection along with embellishments from both the stickers and the digital kit to make four 3x4 cards!
