Think Outside the Layout: Digital Poolside Invitations with Michele

One of the best things about digital supplies is how versatile and reusable they are—you can use them again and again for different projects! The moment I laid eyes on the Poolside collection, I instantly pictured how perfect they’d be for creating fun, summery party invitations. The colors and patterns are just so cheerful and fresh—they were telling me to plan a party!

I decided my canvas size and went with a custom 4X6. I thought this size would be perfect! The first element I decided on was my background.

Then very similarly to a scrapbook layout, I just start placing elements on and adjusting until I get something I like. I started with the important information and made sure that was clear and easy to find.

After that—it was time to embellish! What I like to do is go through the folder of supplies and stack everything I love onto the canvas. It looks messy-but I like to have everything that stood out to me, ready to place so I don’t forget anything.

Then I start pulling graphics apart and placing them around the title and party information.

In the end—I end up with a downloadable 4X6 party invite! I love that the supplies can be used for layouts and I can even include this invite when I scrap the party and it will coordinate!
