3 Ways to Use Numbers as a Design Element on your Scrapbook Layout
Using numbers in our scrapbooking projects can be very interesting and fun, and there are several ways to do it.
Some more classic ways are in the form of lists, such as "TOP 5" something or "10 places I want to visit," or in a timeline, recording, for example, the baby's growth month by month.
But we can use numbers as a highlight on the page for a special date! I made 3 projects like that. In the first one, I hand-drew the number 2, cut it out of white cardstock, and then glued distressed strips of decorated papers from the Milestones collection to decorate it. I selected elements and titles from the collection that matched the wedding anniversary theme and did some mixed media on the base to break up the white of the background paper.
In the second project, I used numbers as a highlight in the photo itself and also as decorative elements ( here I used the numbers from the alphabets in the collection) on a discreetly patterned paper. I made it in a spread format for TN with the Milestones collection.
In the third project, I used the number 9 cut out from various decorated papers as the main decorative element in the layout for my daughter's 9th birthday party. I used the Jack & Skelly collection for this project.
I hope you enjoyed these inspirations and ideas on how to incorporate numbers into your projects, and if there was one you liked more than others, let me know!
