Hello and welcome to the Thirty-Eigth edition of our fun series: Mix It Up Monday! We love to show you how easy it is to mix and match TRD collections to create something new and wonderful!

This month, we’re combining the brand new Grit & Grace collection with the homey Hearth & Hollow collection! These two are both failish and similar and tone so they compliment each other nicely!

Shayla

These two collections were so easy to work with, especially because fall is my favourite season! I had fun pumping up the‘Fall’ journal card from Hearth & Hollow with elements from both collections. I also combined both alphas for my custom title on this 6x8 pocket page. The bunting from Grit & Grace absolutely belongs with the mini character Polaroids of Hearth & Hollow. Together both collections are a warm shot of autumn comfort.

Karidan

These two kits were so perfect together! The blues in both kits mixed so perfectly so I ran with that and used the digital stamps in the back ground paired with a few neutrals like the leaf with the type on it! That might be one of my favorite elements in these kits! I love working with two kits as you get so many options and these two work so well together for fall layouts along with more masculine layouts!

Hanna

Both these collections have all the fall stuff and the colors! So it makes it so easy scrapping the fall photos. Fall colors are the best and so layered so I really wanted to layer lots of the papers. I chose coordinating patterns. I just had to put the little mushroom in there and the title looks like crochet which feels so cosy. Perfect for these photos of my mom and my niece on a walk together. Tucking in the photos was the finishing touch.

I loved using the new Grit and Grace collection with Hearth and Hollow — as usual, all of Traci’s collections work beautifully together-- all of the fall ones seem to just fit so nicely together! I used one of my favorite templates that has SO MANY papers so that I could use as many together as possible! I used pictures from my oldest son’s trip to NYC-- we went in the fall, so it fit perfectly, and the colors of both collections fit so nicely with the the fall colors!
