Hello and welcome to the Thirty-Sixth edition of our fun series: Mix It Up Monday! We love to show you how easy it is to mix and match TRD collections to create something new and wonderful!

This month, we’re combining the brand new Amber Glow collection with the stunning Equinox collection! Both collections have similar summer-meets-fall color palettes but definitely lean heavier into different parts of that summer-to-fall-transition! Amber Glow features the cozy, crisp side of September and Equinox dives right into those last few warm days of the season!

Fall is my favorite time of the year, and fall collections just make me so happy! Today, I am sharing a layout that I created for Mix It Up Monday. This month we are mixing it up with the new release, Amber Glow and Equinox! They meld together in perfect harmony! I used patterned paper from Equinox to create a border around my white background after gutting it. I used the leftover piece to mat my photo grid. I used a title, two bows, mushrooms, and phrases from Amber Glow and layered those items up with florals and wood veneer pieces from Equinox. I layered up some of the patterned cards from Equinox behind my photo grid.

The Amber Glow and Equinox collections are an even better pairing than coffee and pumpkin cake, with their cozy colors and snuggly vibes. That's why I had to use them both to document the first "cold weather" bon fire I got to have with my son. Using the journaling and pattered cards from Amber Glow as my base, I used the frames in the sticker pack from Equinox on 2 of my photos. To really finish off my page I used icon stickers and phrase stickers from both collections to bring the branch and leaf motif across and down the page.

I adore mixing collections and those 2 are stunning! I’ve based my layout on one of Equinox hearts, printed it in a big size and used it as a model to cut another paper to form 2 big hearts layout. I've used a heart stencil for the background, one of the titles of Amber Glow and a lot of the cute embellishment of both collections, they go along so well!

Looking through the digital embellishments and stickers of the Amber Glow and Equinox collections reminds me of browsing an antiques store. Such an eclectic mix of textures and uncommon items. I wanted to bring that junk journal feel to my layout today. I kept the background simple with a solid from Equinox and two journal cards from Amber Glow. The rest of the layout was created by mixing together all the treasures I could find in the embellishments and stickers. I love how seamlessly these two collections mix together.
