Focus On: Equinox 2.0
Can you feel the vibe shifting? It’s officially September, which means we’re thisclose to Fall here in the northern hemisphere!
However, most of us aren’t quite there yet and this week’s Sweet Steal, Equinox, celebrates that liminal time when summer is waning and autumn is waxing!
In beautiful golden tones with sunflowers and fall leaves galore, Equinox is a delightful collection to capture all your golden fall days when the mornings are crisp and the afternoons are still warm.
And better yet, it’s 50-58% off for the next few days only!

I confess: my favorite flower is a sunflower and so Equinox is one of my favorite collections because it features them so prominently. For my 35th birthday, my husband and I had photos done in a gorgeous sunflower field and of course I am continuously scrapbooking them with this collection! I decided to go all-in on the sunflower theme and create a giant one in the middle of my canvas and it’s a showstopper!

I rarely have the opportunity for fully fall themed layouts as I live in a very hot climate. Equinox is filled with so many good basics and a color palette perfect for those family moments that just happened to occur during those cool fall months. I don’t have a wide format printer so I keep a stash of basic woodgrain papers that I know will pair with all of Traci’s paper perfectly. Some hand stitching adds that touch of homeyness and family feels.

I’m working in my 6x8 album again, which I usually do pocket-style pages for, but this time I wanted to have a mini layout on one side. It can be a challenge for me to work on such a small scale compared to 12x12, so I tried to keep the amount of embellishments pared down and instead let the gorgeous sunflower paper do most of the heavy lifting! I layered a few papers for a spot to rest my photos and sprinkled in bees across both pages. So appropriate for a garden layout. I love the foiled clear embellishments so I tucked some into clusters on both pages. One of the circle journal spots became a photo holder on my pocket page and I cropped one of the vertical Polaroid frames to use it horizontally on my full page layout side.

I love the soft colors of Equinox and this leaf paper is so beautiful that I chose it to be the base of my layout. I don't usually use a big photo in my layouts but this one had lovely scenery that deserved a big presentation. Cute embellishments, a card and a title and that's it!

The Equinox collection is a timeless tribute to autumn, effortlessly complementing photos from this year or a decade ago. It’s a go-to collection I’ll return to again and again.
