Letting a Holiday Photo Inspire Your Page Design with Ophie

It is the holiday season! One of my favorite things to see is all the holiday lights all around town. In my area, we have a local hotel with many trees all decorated for the holidays. I finally made time visit and capture what I walked through with my camera. One of these photos inspired the page I created using Make Merry. Here is my photo that I captured that night:

I had specifically used a lens that night that could best capture the sparkle of the lights. I used paint and elements to create the look of the bokeh and lights twinkling and arranged the papers/ribbons to create the scenery in the photo. I then placed my photo among the trees as the final step. Here is my page:

I hope this will show you that you can find inspiration even in your photos. We often take the photos to scrap later and now you can also take another look and use your photos to find inspiration for your pages.
