Celebrate Pride Month with the Fierce Collection!
This week's Sweet Steals spotlight is Fierce, a collection that celebrates love, pride, acceptance, and the beauty of being unapologetically yourself. Filled with vibrant rainbows, uplifting sentiments, and bold designs, Fierce was created to help document stories of identity, allyship, community, and joy. It's a collection that brings color, heart, and meaning to every page.

For this Sweet Steals project, I worked with the Fierce collection to document a few photos of Philip and Beth at Nashville Pride.
This page came together around that big rainbow paper and the bold Pride title. I rotated the wave paper because I wanted the movement up and down, and then I accentuated that movement with tone-on-tone stitching through each of the rainbow stripes. Border stitching finished off my texture. I featured three photos, added my journaling to one of the journal cards, and kept the embellishments pretty light because the collection already had so much color and energy.
The story behind the page matters to me. These photos make me smile because they are bright and happy, but also because they reflect something Steve and I believe: everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, respected, and loved. It may not be our personal story, but it is absolutely part of our family story — and that felt worth documenting.

I’ve used the Fierce bundle a few times, and I was delighted to see it would be included in the Sweet Steals sale this week. I used the Fierce LGBTQIA+-themed collection to document my daughter and her partner as they enjoyed a day of inclusion and creativity at our local event called PensaPride. The collection is filled with rainbow colors, flags, stars, and journal cards that helped me create this celebratory page of pride, belonging, and having the freedom to shine their light.

Last month we went to Nashville for the Florence & The Machine concert, but since I had my two best friends in one place for the first time EVER, we decided to make a weekend of it and visited a Drag Brunch before the concert as well! I wanted to include the brunch in my Project Life album as its own half spread, so what better collection to scrap it with than Fierce?

Fierce is such a colorful, vibrant and happy collection. Fierce immediately made me think of my daughter and so I included lots of hearts, flowers, the beautiful rainbow background, and some spunky phrases to capture her spirit and sassiness! I finished the layout with an acrylic title that I feel this layout and Traci's collection convey!
