Luly - Oh, What Fun!

Working on finishing up my December Daily and I thought the diamonds reminded me of twinkle lights. I duplicated the sketch for my second page - and just removed a few of the diamonds to allow the photos to shine through!

We have 2 neighbors who really go all out for the village competition & we love to go over and check it all out. I love all of Traci’s festive collections - so I was happy to pull out Oh What Fun to use on my page. The fun Candy Cane alpha was the perfect touch to wrap up my page!

Ruth - Story Foundations + Festive

I switched this sketch to use with my 6x8 page for my December (not so) daily. I printed the background and camera tag from the story foundations collection. I cut the diamonds on my cricut from Festive and used some of the Festive sticker sheet that I had already print and cut as ephemera. The title is stickers made from one of the Story Foundations alphabets.

Kristin - Love Potion

When I saw the sketch Traci created for sketchy Sunday, I knew immediately I wanted to swap out the hexagons for hearts. The Love Potion collection was perfect for creating a heart themed layout. I chose the black paper with the white dots as my base paper because I wanted a more neutral background so that the pink hearts would stand out on the page. I fussy cut out hearts from the heart paper in the collection and used the sticker hearts to create a scattered look to the hearts. I layered some of the hearts with different colored hearts to create more dimension. I then chose to use the florals in the collection, as well as other love- themed icons in the collection to create clusters around the photos. I finished the layout by adding an acrylic title from my stash.

Danica - Candy Coated Christmas

Well it looks like a lot of us are trying to finish up our December Daily albums and honestly nothing is different over here! So I pulled Candy Coated back out for this sketch today and when I seen the quilted like pattern I knew right away what story could be told! I made a hand knited blanket for my sister this year for christmas and was super happy with the way it came out since I haven’t done one in years! It actually sparked my love for hand kniting again and I have done several pillows and other blankets since then! Can’t believe we are at 70 sketches at this point! I love a good sketch I also reduced this one to a 6x8 size and it worked perfectly!
