Theme Thursday - Pets!

Happy Theme Thursday! Today we’re focusing on the furry members of our family, our pets! I don’t know about you, but I love scrapbooking my pets, especially how they interact with our family, so read on for inspiration on scrapbooking your pets, even without a pet-themed collection!

Tara - My Person

This week Traci prompted us with ‘Pets' for Theme Thursday. I jumped at the chance to create something featuring my two pups because I love them like they are people. They give me love and joy and so many laughs that enrich my life to the fullest. Since I love my ‘fur’ babies so much, the obvious choice of which collection to use was My Person! The colors of this collection are strikingly beautiful and the sentiments are perfect for expressing your love and adoration, plus there are lots of hearts and rainbows which always make me happy!

To showcase these two cuties, I made a small and simple accordion album that also shows off the beautiful printed papers of the My Person collection. I used at least three different patterned papers on each section of this mini and then added in lots of the darling embellishments! There is a sweet sentiment on each section, along with the coordinating hearts, rainbows and arrows. I also added in some ‘dog’ themed embellishments that were cut from dies and my Slihouette Cameo from the patterned paper designs!

To close this chunky mini album, I made a collar from more of the patterned paper that wraps around and fastens in front with a buckle. Too cute! I had such a great time making this little mini that shows off my two best friends and I loved that I could use the gorgeous My Person collection for it!

Jenn - #StayHome

My pets are always a favorite for picture taking for me! I love my kitties so much! I thought #StayHome and #StayHome relax were perfect for a layout of my favorite kitty- Sher Khan. The colors are so calm and inviting, and let’s be honest, he is the king of napping on the couch!

Traci - The Love List, My Person, #Foodie, and Harvest Moon

Scrapping my animals is an integral part of my albums, as they are just as much family as the rest of us. I like scrapbooking their “glamour shots” but I also really like catching them in all their personality glory like in these three layouts using The Love List, My Person, #Foodie, and Harvest Moon collections (in order.)

Showing off their mischievousness or relationships with people in the home on a page shows how they were/are apart of our everyday lives!
