Lucky girl … That’s what I see when I look at my daughter.
She is really good in Judo, has a lot of friends and sweet for everybody.
I love the Anywhere But Here collection and I wanted to show you can use a themed collection for a page in a totally different theme.
With my Cricut I cut out an mandala and used it on the Wood grain paper from My Person as a background. I made a cluster on both sides with the amazing flowers, added some pieces of paper behind my picture and made the title with my Cricut. I added 3 layers of cardstock to give the title more body. I colored it with Salvaged patina Distress Oxide and added some splatters of some peacock feathers Oxide which I mixed with some water.
Some Squeezed lemonade Oxide splatters to repeat the yellow from the flowers and a four leave clover I made from a Tim Holtz Die to finish the page.
Trish - Keep Chasing Rainbows
Blessed and lucky are both themes that I struggle to work with in my scrapbook pages. (Though if you ask Traci staying on any theme is a struggle.) I never quite know what to say or do other than a generic "lucky/blessed I am their mom" type deal. After spending a rare day girls' day with my daughter I decided to do a blessed theme purely about her. With 5 other kids, and all of them boys, it is nice to get out and spend some time alone with just her.

Hi everyone! Happy St. Patricks Day! In Ireland, rainbows symbolize blessings from heaven and being that today is the global celebration of Irish culture, I made a rainbow mini to showcase my blessings! I consider myself so lucky to have two awesome kids that have made my life more fun, interesting and filled with love and they have blessed me with some pretty fantastic grandchildren! In my life, the rainbow would be my children and my grand babies would be the pot of gold!
The rainbow colored pages of this album are layered with the dazzling papers, journal cards and stickers from the 'Keep Chasing Rainbows' digital collection. This colorful collection is full of happy and uplifting sentiments and images that remind us that everyday life and the people we share it with are magical!
