Scrapping Your Halloween Memories with Paranormal Activities

Hey and hello my scrappy friends!!

Melinda here with you sharing some inspiration with Story Foundations - Chapter 10 - Paranormal Activities.

If you’ve been around a while you may remember that a couple of years ago I decided to create a “Halloween Memories” mini album and that is exactly what I’m working in today, for this share!

If you want to see that you can pop over here to see my original post on the blog!

Now, onto the fun with Traci’s newest Halloween collection, starting with our 2019 Halloween.

Just a single 6x8 page for this particular year. I was actually interstate for this one so it was just Dad and his boys out trick or treating. And taking photo’s. This, right here, is your reminder that you don’t “perfect” photo’s or moments to scrap those memories! This is certainly not the best photo of all time but it is what I have so that’s what I scrapped!

Something else worth noting! If you’ve followed me for a while you will know that purple is NOT my favourite colour. See what I’ve done with this page though?! Purple is pretty much the element that leads your eye around the page, to all of the “important” pieces and I’m not at all mad about that!!

Onto the new year I scrapped with this collection, 2021.

And, another year that is not the 4 of us out trick or treating together!

A 2-pager this time, starting with another 6x8 page and pocket page with four 3x4 pockets.

Halloween 2021 was my first Halloween with me back at work in an almost full-time capacity for the first time in over 10 years. This was also the year that I started my braces journey (my first surgery in August and braces fitted in September) so I had had a pretty busy previous 6 months in the lead up to Halloween. Again, it was just Dad and his boys! While I stayed home, had a relaxing spa and enjoyed the peace!

Which leads us to the four 3x4 pockets.

In order for these 2 pages to read as one entry, I have started my pockets with the 2 main pattern papers from my 6x8 page as the base cards for this one; placing them diagonally opposite each other for balance and flow.

The 2 cards with the peachy coloured pattern as the background have had photo’s adhered straight to them. Then I decorated the other 2 using stickers from the collection and some vellum (also carried across from the other page) and added a little journalling.

In total, that is another 2 years that I have completed in this album.

I am loving this little trip down memory lane and hope to get some more years completed this October! I am also hoping to do an album flip through for you guys in the very near future. Real life has my craft room currently in total chaos so I will get that video done very soon after I have my space back properly!

I hope that you have enojoyed my share today. This collection was so so fun to play with!!

And if you’d like to see more, a bunch of us have just completed an IG Hop featuring this collection so make sure you head over to Insta, you can find me here!
