Danica

It was super hard to just pick one layout to lift from Cheryl. Her scrapping style is similar to mine and I just love all her layouts! They are always filled with fantastic clusters of florals and elements. I finally picked this page because of the photo that was front and center. I tend to scrap more single photo pages and this one stood out to me. Traci has quite a few patriotic kits and I used bits and pieces of all of them here. They really complemented the photo I wanted to scrap. The collections I used were We the People, Hometown Proud, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Indivisible, and I Voted. I did do some recoloring on the top journal card, some of the flowers (to match the reds a little more) and the bottom word strip. Otherwise it was pretty much a straight lift although I think I may have used less ribbons but more flowers. I love how my page turned out and I think it’s one of my favorites this  year.

Bruna - Besties Who Brunch & Poolside

I chose this beautiful layout by Cheryl to scraplift because I love a big heart layout. I mixed and matched two collections by Traci, Besties who Brunch and Poolside and I think that went perfect, the colors complement each other and matched my beach photos of the beautiful Golden Horn beach at Croatia! I did a little stamping in the background to add interest to the clusters and added two wood butterflies colored with hot embossing.

Noemi - Anywhere But Here

Cheryl has such a fun, bold, and maximalist style. She is a master of clustering and incorporates numerous photos in her layouts. Her gallery is an absolute delight! I was super inspired by this layout, not only for its unique composition, but also for the repetition of images that creates a powerful visual impact. I replicated much of her design using the Wander & Wonder collection, and I documented some of my own airplane views from my trip to various cities. I'm usually a hybrid scrapbooker, but Cheryl’s projects inspired me to go full digital this time and the fun was doubled! Experimenting with scrapbooking techniques really takes your creativity sky-high, just like my photos!

Shayla - Bountiful

I was inspired by the way Cheryl used all the tags and spots to tell her journaling story across the page. I mimicked the same using tags and journaling circles from the Bountiful kit. I tried to imitate her use of clusters by grouping together tags and elements to create a little woodland creature scene at the bottom of the layout. What a fun way to use many of my favourite elements from this kit!
