Pop Your Page using BLACK with Nicole!

Hey all, Nicole here with my first project for the month and I’m using the gorgeous Moonlit collection! I liked this collection because it is bright and colorful but also brings in black.

I started this layout with paper piecing. I printed the plaid paper from the collection and then matted it on some black. I made sure to tear both papers as well. I made one side of my scrap page 8.5” and the other is 9.5”. I also distressed the edges.

I used one of the journal cards from the collection so that I can add my journaling. I paired it with my picture on the left side of my layout. Then I added my title on the right side of my layout using some white alphas from my stash.

I used ellies from the Digital Kit to make my clusters in 3 different areas on my page. I also added some orange gems and black splatters. I finished with my journaling.
