Pixels 2 Paper with Tai - Making a 3x4 Mini Album from Journal Cards!

Hello friends! Welcome back to another blog post with me. For today’s project, I will be using the 3x4 journaling cards plus the patterned cards to make a mini album.  This project is wonderful because of the ability to continuously add to it throughout the upcoming days, weeks or months.

I am using the newest collection from Traci Reed called Smitten.  For this project all you will need is journaling cards with sentiments, patterns or room for your words.  The variety is half the fun because sometimes our photos do not need words and sometimes they just need an embellishment.  I will show you examples of both.

When selecting the cards, I liked having the two sides compliment each other.  My process has be ‘audition’ what looks good together before I adhere them together.  So I had tons of beautiful cards to choose from in this process.  I made sure to show off all the beautiful designs in the collection.  The theme of the entire album is “things I love”.  The photos so moments with my family, my dogs, my daughter and my Starbucks coffee order lately.

Photos were collaged 4 on one 4x6 photo print.  Each photo is 2x3 inches and I use an app called MOLDIV to do the collage without a watermark.  I am not savvy on Photoshop nor Canva, but there are a variety of ways to collage your photos to use.

In each spread there is at least one embellishment as well.  In Traci’s collections she always adds a variety of stickers to compliment the collection.  I enjoyed a more detail to each photo.  I added one hole punch in the upper left corner and added them to a one inch binder ring I picked up from Dollar Tree.  For added detail I added a few pink ribbons to the ring.

If you would like to see my process video it is linked below.  My thought is to constantly add to this mini album with each collection Traci designs and it can be a nice collection of this I was loving this year.
