Photoshop in 5 with Theresa: Customizing Digital Product

Hi friends, it’s Theresa here with a fun Valentine’s themed Photoshop In Five! I have a Photoshop to Silhouette tutorial where we are going to customize these super cute stamps from The Love List collection! As soon as I saw these I knew I wanted to use them as the inspiration for my page, so I decided to create a Love List for February in my 2023 6x8 album.

I chose to use the stamps for some of the journal cards, but I also was inspired by a second set of stamps in the kit. Traci created a set with the tie dye patterned paper as the background with white conversation hearts on top. I spun off of that and layered other little hearts and embellishments on top! Placing your own elements, journal cards, or photos inside these stamps is very easy to do, so I created a tutorial for you.

Once I printed and cut the cute little stamps, adding the embellishments was like frosting on the cake! I adhered the stamps so that I still had bits of space around them and then I used a basic formula for the clusters: floral + word strip. As a last little thing, I stamped a few little hearts (Studio Calico) and the “so very happy” at the bottom of the page.

Traci’s collections are always so chock full of embellishments, and The Love List has the best! I added this little tab alongside the travelers notebook signature along with a floral, and I also allowed some of the other embellishments to overlap to soften the line between the two. Speaking of the signature, I am loving incorporating those as the perfect spot for journaling. This one was the perfect space to list the things I’ve been loving lately. I’ve used a few stamps from Felicity Jane for the numbers and also for the “Loving This” at the top.

Back in January I did a printed vellum as a divider for the month, and I repeated that again this month. I took one of the printed papers and printed it at 8.5” square, then trimmed it down. As I was working with all those adorable embellishments I realized that the “Like” buttons would be so cute in a cluster! The wood February circle was the perfect center (Colorcast Designs).

Of course I did a full process video for you, and I’d love for you to check it out!

Thank you so much for following along with me today! I hope you are inspired to create some heart-felt layouts this month.
