It’s Sweet Steal time again! That Tuesday of the month where we take a classic and well-loved collection from the vault and mark it down 50-58% through Friday so that you can pick up this collection you may have missing from your stash at a killer deal and create something beautiful!

This week we’re focusing on the Sunkissed collection! Sunkissed is a beautifully soft, almost pastel version of summer that evokes those long, mellow days spent by the pool in the sun! It has icons that range from bathing suits to ice cream and an really spectacular set of tie-dyed papers and embellishments that take it to the next level!

Sunkissed is one of my favourite summer collections from Traci! And I love that there are cut files included in this collection. I had great fun using the cocktail cut file and backing it with papers from the collection (apart from the ice cubes where I used some glitter paper from my stash). I used one of the tie dye papers for my background and am thrilled with how this layout turned out.

With a recent, quick get away to Bali for hubby and I, there couldn’t be a better matched collection than Sunkissed! Using some stickers (in both white and clear sticker paper) and die cuts already print and cut; plus printing a few extra paper layers this layout came together pretty quickly and I love the bright, tropical vibe paired with my photos!

Sunkissed is such a fun summery collection! It has a tropical vibe and I thought it was perfect for scrapping a photo from my cruise! I used a template from Fiddle Dee Dee called Fresh Blooms. I followed the template pretty closely but replaced a journal spot with the cute sign. I cropped the daisy border to isolate one of the flowers from it and scattered that through the page. I also removed the stroke from the tropical leaves too. To finish off my layout, I enlarged the “sunshine” word art to use as my title. I just love how it turned out!

I used the cards, stamps, and some stickers to create this page in my Abrolhos travel album. It's fun putting together this puzzle, combining colors and elements for a harmonious result. Sunkissed is a collection of soft and cheerful colors, very enjoyable to play with.

I had so much fun with the digital kit making this layout! I used the mixed media backgrounds, 2 decorated cards for my photo mats, and then I chose elements from the kit for the clusters. This collection is so cheerful, I love it!

I love sunset pictures and I had a beautiful picture that I was wanting to scrap from my trip to South Padre in the spring. Enter Sunkissed! So many beautiful embellishments and papers in this collection that are both bright yet soft… that’s why Traci is a magician. I added all the fun things just to make this picture stand out even more.

One of my goals for this trip was to keep up with my travel journaling while the vacation was actually happening and for the first time, I’m successfully doing it! I guess having a Design Team project due was the perfect motivation to stay on top of documenting our adventures!
For these first pages, I used Sunkissed by Traci Reed to document the first three days of our 18-day vacation. The story starts with a mandatory family selfie with our cat, Lucky, before leaving him behind in Saudi Arabia and heading off on our Spain adventure.
These pages are filled with photos, tickets, receipts, packaging, and all the little bits and pieces I’ve collected along the way. It’s already so much fun seeing the memories be documented while they’re still fresh in my mind.
I’m looking forward to junk journaling the rest of our trip and creating many more pages with this beautiful collection. Stay tuned for more vacation memories!
