Bountiful Chat-GPT Inspired Instagram Hop!

Hey Hey Hey! It's Bountiful Saturday today and the TRD team is doing our ChatGPT-inspired Instagram Hop!

We asked ChatGPT to give us layout ideas for the Bountiful collection and it came up with some pretty inspiring (and sometimes hilarious) prompts, complete with embellishment ideas!!

Check out all the prompts and layouts below!

Traci

"Panoramic Fall Leaves"

  • Feature panoramic photos of vibrant fall leaves.

  • Arrange the photos horizontally for a seamless flow.

  • Use leaf-themed embellishments and warm colors.

The panoramic fall leaves prompt was PERFECT for these photos I have from our trip to Holy Hill in Wisconsin, but I knew I wanted them to be HUGE! So I decided on an interactive layout where both photos flipped open to be 9.25x8.25!”

On the outside of the flaps, I used the Bountiful collection to make typical scrapbook pages featuring other photos from our adventure, but I had even MORE photos I wanted to use, so I made a film strip with them and then created a pocket out of acetate for the inside so that it wouldn’t obstruct the lovely view of those fall leaves.

"Fall Memories Collage"

  • Create a collage with a mix of family photos.

  • Include all the fall icons in a fun, scattered design.

  • Share short memories or anecdotes related to each photo.

I’m still trying to get past years’ photos scrapped and this prompt was a perfect way to get some miscellaneous photos of a day at grandpa and grandma’s house scrapped! I included a mix of photos from our fun fall activities, lots of Traci’s gorgeous leaves scattered around and journaling about the day (thank goodness for my old blog!).

"Harvest of Love"

  • Feature photos of your family at a pumpkin patch.

  • Use pumpkin and heart-shaped embellishments.

  • Describe your day of picking pumpkins together.

We didn’t get a chance to take our normal fall trip to the corn maze this year, so during an impromptu trip to a hardware store we took advantage of their little “pumpkin patch” area! We took a few pictures with the pumpkins and brought 5 of them home with us in various sizes and colors. The kids always LOVE picking out pumpkins each year and while we weren’t at an official pumpkin patch, this time was certainly no different! The pumpkins and hearts Traci designed for this collection were the perfect embellishments to document such a fun time that we had with the kids picking our own pumpkins.

"Season of Change"

  • Use a tree design with leaves in different colors.

  • Feature photos of family members over the years.

  • Reflect on how your family has grown and changed.

Today I am reflecting on my oldest daughter Layla & how she has evolved into a great sister.  Layla has really embraced being a big sister, she truly cares for Aleena, and being a sister is now a big part of who she is as a person. I’ve watched her transform into an amazing role model and I am proud of the person she is today.

Tarrah

"Grateful Hearts"

  • Prompt: Arrange heart icons throughout the layout.

  • Decorate with falling leaves and acorns.

  • Caption with what each family member is thankful for.

Hearts are my favourite and they are so easy to add to a project especially when family are involved! This photo is of myself and my 2 sons, I love this photo of the 3 of us! The beautiful Bountiful collection has some gorgeous hearts and captions for family memory keeping. The hearts were so easy to arrange on my layout and I added some nice family captions as well. I also used the free Sketchy Heart cut file and decorated my layout with some falling leaves from the Bountiful collection.

Donna

"Autumn Family Tree"

  • Use a tree design as the backdrop.

  • Incorporate family photos creatively.

  • Decorate with colorful leaves and tiny pumpkins.

For my layout, I chose the prompt "Autumn Family Tree". I love all the amazing fall colors in the Bountiful kit and the leaves are just perfect for the idea I have in mind while making this layout. I used a couple of the leaves cutfiles to create a balance over all the colorful elements.

Theresa

"Squirrel Family Adventures"

  • Use a woodland backdrop with a squirrel.

  • Showcase your family's outdoor escapades.

  • Write about your favorite family adventure.

Ok does anyone else ever use Squirrel or Squirrel-y as an adjective to describe something? That is immediately what I thought of when I read this challenge from ChatGPT. This family adventure didn’t have any squirrels directly, but there were a lot of squirrel-y characters involved and it was definitely a squirrel-y – read quirky – adventure! We visited a local animal rescue farm. They mostly take alpacas but there were goats and cows too. They each have their own stories and their own personalities, and they definitely showed us while we were visiting! Ha! The prompt was perfect for this layout: I created the woodsy backdrop with the tree patterned paper from Bountiful, and grounded it with the green geometric patterned paper, which feels like grass to me. I brought in the squirrel from the stickers along with his friends and created little clusters for each of them to live on. The grid layout design showcases the photos and helps them stand out from the background to highlight this cool adventure. What a great prompt!

Luly

"Autumn's Warmth"

  • Create a warm color palette with reds and oranges.

  • Feature photos of family members in cozy sweaters.

  • Write about the warmth and love in your family.

I choose the prompt about candy corn. This one jumped out to me when Chatgpt mentioned it because my two boy and I LOVE candy corn when it seems like the rest of the world hates it haha! When I put out the candy jars they checked them daily for that first bag of candy corn to hit them and when it did that little bag didn’t have a chance! So this is my little guy holding what he thinks a hand full is and what his brother and I always yell at him about as he takes tooo much!!!

Nicole

"Owl Always Love You"

  • Feature family photos with an owl as the centerpiece.

  • Add leaves and hearts around the owl.

  • Share a heartfelt message about family love.

Hey all!  Today is the very fun Instagram hop for the Traci Reed Designs Bountiful collection.  We used ChatGPT to suggest prompts on creating something fun with this collection and I choose “Owl Always Love You”  I used an owl as my main embellishment cluster and stuck with the same prompt as my title that I added on tags down in the right lower part of my page.  Make sure to check out all the other ladies playing along for the hop today!

Noemi

"Hedgehog Hugs"

  • Place family photos creatively.

  • Decorate with falling leaves.

  • Express your love and gratitude for your family.

This challenge was so much fun! ChatGPT suggested the title "Hedgehog Hugs," but what if we change it to "Puppy Yawns"?

The prompt suggested to place our photos creatively, so I decided to create a mini collage that shows how adorable my dog looks while taking a sunbath! The second instruction was to decorate with falling leaves, so I used an adorable mini leaves paper as the full background. Finally, the last step is to express your love for your family. I absolutely love this concept behind the Bountiful collection, as we consider our pets to be a lovely part of our family. That's why I frequently document their adorable moments!

Cheryl

"Thanksgiving Feast"

  • Display the Thanksgiving dinner and table.

  • Add pumpkin, heart, and tree icons.

  • Describe the delicious dishes and heartfelt conversations.

My prompt from ChatGPT was to create about a Thanksgiving Feast, including photos of the food and the table as well as adding pumpkin, heart, and tree icons, and journaling about each delicious dish.

The photos I chose were from Thanksgiving 2020, when we were just beginning to gather together again in small groups after the pandemic that shut everything down in March 2020. While our group was smaller, we still had amazing food. We also had the ability to really express our gratitude for one another after being apart for long months. It’s a family affair to prepare all the food. The day before Thanksgiving, we prepare all the pies (those will be featured on a separate layout) and we also prep for Thanksgiving Day. That includes setting the table.

I chose to highlight our groupie photo as the largest photo. There was a distracting light that’s over the dining room table that I was able to cover up with the “gather around the table” word art. I added a row of trees, and a cluster of pumpkins with some mushrooms and other foliage on the opposite side of the page. I used hearts to number the detail photos, and then used word strips to provide information about the food. I included multiple patterned papers and added some mixed media on the background paper as well. I absolutely love how my layout turned out. I hope it inspires you to create your own layouts about your traditions!

Kristin

“Furry Friends in the Woods"

  • Place family photos surrounded by forest-themed elements.

  • Include an owl and squirrel to symbolize the woods.

  • Add a speech bubble with fun family quotes.

My prompt was “Furry Friends in the Woods".  I had to place family photos surrounded by forest-themed elements.  I was to include an owl and squirrel to symbolize the woods.  While the photo isn't of my pups in the woods, I think it turned out pretty cute!

Emiley

“Family Leaves of Love"

  • Use a tree design with leaves.

  • Place family photos creatively.

  • Write what you love most about each family member.

My prompt for the IG Hop was “Family Leaves of Love.” The leaf embellishments in this collection are stinking gorgeous so I was super excited to use allll of them! I decided to document this picture of my kiddos tossing autumn leaves and created a “pile” of leaves on my layout for the picture to be resting in. I love how it turned out!

Melinda

"Fall Family Picnic"

  • Showcase your family picnic photos.

  • Add a friendly fox as a cute element.

  • Highlight the foods and moments you shared.

My AI inspired prompt was “Fall Family Picnic” and as you can see from my photos there isn’t a picnic in sight lol This all came about because I totally misread the prompt as “Fall Family Pictures” (thank you over worked brain lol) and had this stack of photos left from a photo shoot we had done earlier this year. The colours in the photos work beautifully with the Bountiful collection and I simply couldn’t resist the adorable critters, fox included!!
