Spoil Your Bestie with a Handmade Treat Pocket Using the Besties Who Brunch Collection!

Girls just wanna have fun (also we just wanna little treat!) Even more fun than giving myself a little treat is the chance to do that for one of my friends. I used the Besties Who Brunch collection and made these little treat pockets that have just enough space for an individually wrapped tea bag and a candy or small chocolate square.

To start off, gather your supplies:

- 3.5”x8.5” patterned paper

- Score board & tool (I use the groove of my paper trimmer to score)

- Stapler (or adhesive)

- Treats to go inside

You’ll start by making all your scoring lines on the short side of your paper:

- 1st score at 3/8”

- 2nd score at 3 1/4”

- 3rd score at 3 5/8”

- 4th score at 6 1/2”

Follow the guide in the photo below.

Next, you’ll fold over all of the scored lines, burnishing as you go with your bone folder. Ensure you’re folding so that your patterned paper is being left to show on the outside.

Finally, you’ll use your stapler or adhesive to form the pocket for your treats to go into. I used a stapler and it makes this project ridiculously fast.

Fill the pocket with the treats of your choice. I used an individually wrapped Earl Grey Tea Bag and a Werther’s Original Carmel.

You can stop the project at this point and you’ll have a super easy and quick party favour. But you can also add stickers or labels to take your project one step up.

I chose to print off some of the stickers from the collection, including this “Catching Up On All The Tea” sentiment. I layered it with a flower bunch, some strawberry jam, and the blackberries to create an embellishment cluster that I layered onto navy blue cardstock to really make it pop. I adhered it to the front of the favour packet.

Thanks so much for joining me for this little treat pocket tutorial. Have a fantastic crafty time and don’t forget to share your versions in either the TRD Facebook group or by tagging @Tracimreed on Instagram.
