December Daily 2022: Day 25

We did it, y’all! WE made it all the way through the month and my December Daily 2022 Album is DONE! Thank you so much for coming on this journey with me - I truly appreciate the support!

For Day 25, I’m of course talking about Christmas Day - a day I normally don’t take a lot of photos beyond the present rush in the morning as we all retreat and do our own thing, but I had more than normal this year, a photo celebrating the day of almost everyone, so I decided to use the accordion page I made in my Stress-Free December Daily Prep Day 3 Video specifically for wish lists and never used and instead adapt it for Christmas Day.

I kept this page really simple by pairing it with a “before” photo of the tree on Christmas morning, embellished with my number, and embellishments from the All Is Calm collection on the front.

And then an “after” photo of the same room post-Christmas carnage on the back, featuring the same snowflakes as the front and a puffy sticker title from the Simple Stories Mix & A-Mingle collection. I like the symmetry of the two photos finishing the album.

Sandwiched in between the two, of course, is the accordion pocket fold out with a pre-designed pocket for each of us. It’s hilarious to me that the front is my husband napping in his new “Huggle.”

When you untie it and open it up, there is an image for each of us (the card is a place holder for me when I thought I didn’t have an image to represent my Christmas Day, as is the case for most moms, but I found one - yay) and under the photo is a place for journaling.

I really love the white card stock + 3x4ish photo repetition on this page, it looks so clean.

I embellished each card/photo with a snowflake or star and word bit and let the previously-made clusters on the pockets stand just as they were, making this quick and easy.
